My mom passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2021. I took an at-home test December 10 and it was positive. I couldn't believe it. We weren't really trying to conceive, but we were cautiously optimistic. I got to hear the heartbeat December 13 and was over the moon. However, when we went back January 3, there was no heartbeat anymore. Our Little Bean stopped growing around 6 weeks. We're still going through the grieving process but I know my mom and our baby are together and I'll see them both again someday.
